MICROBLADING AT DYNAMIC – EASTBOURNE –
Microblading in Eastbourne

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a relatively new treatment to the UK. It is becoming an incredibly popular treatment as more and more people like the fine defined results  it offers. Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow procedure that is carried out by a qualified beauty technician, using a specialist hand-tool which holds disposable microblades .  We make sure it is as hygienic as possible.

Microblading is a brow treatment that implants a colour pigment under the epidermis (the top layer of the skin) using a hygienic tool which leaves the brows looking defined and realistic with hair like strokes.

Maria and Stephanie our top beauty therapists have been transforming brows over 7 years and we are the first ones offering Microblading in Eastbourne.

How does it work

Microblading works by making hair like insertions with our hygienic tool into the top layer of the skin called the epidermis, then applying an organic dye over the surface of the skin which soaks through. This is why it is called a semi permanent treatment as a permanent goes deeper like a tattoo, which this is not.

The pigment is implanted in the basal membrane which divides the epidermis from the dermis layer of the skin using a very fine blade ( made up of 10-16 tiny, fine needles configured into a blade shape ). Because we are impacting colour closer to the top skin surface, the strokes appear and remain crisp and extremely fine.

The microblading treatment will last between 18 months to 2 years fading slowly at an unnoticeable pace, therefore making this treatment even more natural. It is amazing how the eyebrows look so natural.

Treatment Procedure

Before we do  the microblading procedure  the therapist will draw the brows on with a removable white pencil so they are more personalised to the client.

The  treatment will proceed by applying an anaesthetic to the required area, then by using our hygienic tool applying a coloured pigment matched to the clients requirement into the skin.

The Microblading technique involves drawing individual,  hair like strokes forming a natural looking brow. Consequently like all forms of cosmetic tattooing, if performed correctly, the procedure will always cause a minimal amount of discomfort.

The required organic colour pigment is deposited into the superficial dermis of the skin. This is the area of the skin that carries all the nourishment and oxygen. Then using a hygienic disposable microblade, creating the eyebrows you require,  the technician will create bespoke, crisp hair strokes to make your brows look natural .This is an amazing treatment and very popular.

* complimentary consultation to discuss your requirements.

  • patch test is required at least 24 hours prior to treatment.
  • pigments (colour) are choosen to match the natural undertones of your skin.
  • your brow shape is measured and drawn on your face to ensure you are happy with shape and positioning. We generally follow the natural contours of your brow bone and can correct your existing shape if needed.
  • sterile microblading tools and disposible blades are used during your procedure.
  • high organic quality of pigments(colours) are used, specially manufactured for micropigmentation.
  • an anasthetic cream is used on the area the therapist is working on to prevent to much discomfort.
  • aftercare pack after treatment.

Return visits in years to follow for a  colour freshen up are much advised as you have already invested in your brows.

How does it differ from semi permanent tattooing?

Microblading is completely different from permenant tattooing  . It is applied closer to the surface of the top layer of skin . After the crisp hair like strokes and pigment (colour) is applied your microblading is finished, and will gradually fade within 18 months to 2 years thus called semi permanent.

Who can have Microblading?

With all semi-permanent makeup procedures it is the practitioner’s responsibility to make sure that there are no contraindications to treatment. If there is a medical condition the clinic doctor will be consulted prior to treatment. REMEMBER: We have your best interests in mind.

This amazing brow treatment suits most  people who have the wrong brow shape, over plucked, loss of hair or want to personalise their brows. If for any reason your brows have loss of hair such as Alopecia, menopause , the hair will not grow back even with this procedure, though we can cover it .

Is microblading for me ?

This method is ideal for anyone. The results are very natural looking with feathered hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair-present. People suffering from alopecia or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from microblading.

We can create  any look, from a natural light finish to a beautiful bold High Definition brow ( this may require 3 sessions depending on what your brow is like initially ). Sparse or missing brows can be completely restored.

How long does the pigmentation last?

Microblading tends to last between 18 months to 2 years and after this period of time you may need a colour boost,  refresh or even darken.

The organic pigments (colour) used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow colour, also the eyebrow that is still present, it all blends perfectly into the existing hairs.

The results are incredible a must have for a flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially the brow  will appear darker, but will fade slightly over a two week period. It is important to have your touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment. It is different on everyone.

Please be advised that this is a two part treatment so you will be required to return 6 weeks after your first treatment for a touch up ( this is included in the price )

Please note everyone  heals differently and some clients develop patchy areas or the appearence of fading after the first treatment.

Everybody’s skin is different. It is understood in this industry that not every client will retain pigment as well as most, in particular if you have very oily skin , alopecia or any other skin factors it will be discussed during the consultation.

It is important to understand that this is a two part process and the second Touch Up Treatment will complete the procedure and after healing, you will see the finish result. PLEASE BE PATIENT AND DON’T PANIC !

Does it hurt?

Like all semi-permanent procedures microblading will require a topical anaesthetic which can be topped up throughout the procedure making it relatively painless.

Microblading cost £195.00 which includes consultation, initial procedure, an after care package and a refresh colour boost after 6 weeks.

Before having your microblade or micropigmentation procedure carried out please be advised of the following…

Your technician will carry out a Symmetry Assessment. Asymmetry is dynamic: a result of a difference in the tone of the forehead muscles and sun exposure of the skin. Microblading will not correct dynamic asymmetries.

Please be advised that eyebrow technicians are NOT cosmetic surgeons. The realistic goal is not to create perfect symmetry, but to make a moderate improvement to enhance the facial characteristics which are already present. The technician has to follow your natural eyebrow contour.

Remember – no two eyebrows are ever truly identical!

Book in for a free consultation where we can go through any questions you have, if you are happy to proceed a patch test will be given and appointment can be booked.
